    This guy really pops against the white. Nice and sharp without saturating. The falling snow and lichen perch are the perfect touches! f/8 a good decision to get more of the bird in focus!

    Very nice colours and composition, and the lichens on the branch add to the perch. Falling snow is a big plus. There might be a bit of noise in the darker tones in the background but that would clean up easily. Nice shot of a classic winter species.
