    This was in harsh light and a high angle, but I sure liked the pose and the few out of place feathers.

    400mm, 1.4X tc, ISO 800, 1/1250, f/8. +.33EV....heavy crop

    Very well done considering the light. Notice that the head is exactly perpendicular to the light... You might consider getting rid of the large white feather and cropping some off the left.
