Here is another tight portrait, this time a Wood Stork image captured at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Why do birds look like they do? Why do the feathers of the juvenile Wood Stork fade away to the scraggly skull of the adult? I do not know, but something to ponder... Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated.
