Neat behavior. I would not mind some more room below. The head is angled slightly away from the line of the body. Lastly, the color looks a bit off to me ... Too much green in the water? What are others seeing.

Thanks Artie, maybe the green you're seeing is from the growth on the bottom the water is maybe 2 feet deep right there.

Nice to see the prey. The crop works well. Nice and sharp.

A fine shot my only reservation is the height from which the image was taken.

I like the sharpness, exposure, action and the water drops flying of the prey. Well done Tim.

I sure wish you would post your images larger! I know you are worried about image theft but if you post them big at 72 PPI then not too much can be done with them.
I wish you had been lower for this image.
Good behavior captured and I like the exposure on the whites,

Thanks Gail, the reason I don’t post larger I don’t have a large 5k screen so I wouldn’t be able to see my own pictures without zooming in and out and as far as getting lower it is prohibited at this location you have to shoot from a bridge or high embankment.

I have a 21" iMAC (2011) and post at 1800 wide for BPN. Fits perfectly on my screen so no zooming in or out. What monitor do you have?

The larger images posted on BPN I always have to zoom down to see so for me 1100 wide is where I’m at.
thanks again.

Beautiful color, exposure, sharpness, and behavior. Lower would have been nicer but virtually impossible at that shooting location. I'd probably go with a more traditional 1.5x1 landscape crop, but that's conventional me.
