They are pretty plain ducks, but this is kind of a bookend shot to the one of the
male I posted the other day.
Same pond, right in the middle of a major city.

You've got some sweet water color going on. I love that here bill is clear of her back.

Nice view of this female. Like how the water just blends into the background.
Beautiful image the only thing I would suggest is to take the blue out of the shaded back feathers.
I like the pose, low angle, composition, water color and sharp where it needs to be. Beautiful image Dan. Do you get lots of ducks at this pond in the city over the winter?
Good solid image! I would decrease the blue in the little strip of water just below and right of the duck. Did you bump up the blues in PP?
I would also select the shadows on the back and decrease the blues there as well.
IQ looks good.
I like your choice of comp and could see a version with a bit more off the bottom,
Gail
I love the pink water! It works very well with this gal! Lighting and composition are really pretty. Big props on getting low as the angle makes the image!
Nice, solid image. I also like the color of the water. Nice color palette, sharp image, pretty much spot on exposure. Thank you for sharing, Dan.
