Such a great bird. Typical setting. Looks pretty good for ISO 3200. Overall the image is a bit dark and flat and would benefit from lifting the exposure and warming it up a bit. I do find that upper level of greener grass a bit distracting.
I agree 100% with Isaac's assessment.
Can you get rid of that green strip at the top and add more room below?

Nice capture and post work, Bill. Under the rainy overcast conditions we had that day, this looks great. The detail in the blacks and whites looks good as well.
Thank you all for your comments. Geoffrey is right that the conditions were dark and rainy that day. The OP is pretty much the way I envisioned it. But a little brighter and warmer might make a more attractive, if less gloomy, image. Here's a repost. I also adjusted the crop to reduce the green band at top.
Nicely done but even the repost is too dark for me :) The subject to sensor orientation and the head angle and position are perfect.
