    That is just a killer Starling photo. Perch, snow, bird, all of it.....
    I might not give it a catchlight on a snow day but I could see a little bit more light in the eyeball.

    Hi John, I had no doubt you would feed the monthly theme of Winter, and this shows it off very well. Nice pose perched high, and I do like the colours on this Starling. Overall sharp, and the falling snow rounds the image off.

    Love this John, the flat light was kind to you and made perfect light for the gorgeous colors, any chance you have room as a vertical?

    Great image of an often over looked bird. I like the winter mood, pose, HA, perch and composition.
