    Breeding Intermediate Egret pair
    Near Macleay NSW Australia.
    This pair look like they are enjoying themselves!

    D500, 600mm f4 VR, 1.4x,
    Tripod.
    Shutter 1600, f8, Auto ISO 220, exp -1
    3.30pm -11/11/2018

    Photoshop crop, exp, whites, tonal adjustments, very light noise reduction to background, sharpen.

    Two killer birds in mega-breeding plumage and I like the crop. And sharp. It looks as if the light was from the right so you might want to opened up the faces which are a bit shaded.

    I love the breeding colors of the lores and the IQ is excellent.Whites look good.
    I find myself wishing I could see the entire wing but a good choice of crop if you clipped the wing.

    Thanks for helpful comments.
    I have opened up the shadows on the faces (thanks Art).
    And improved the blue sky, plus some slight sharpening and tonality changes.
    Hi Gail the upper wing was out of frame but glad you don't mind the crop.
