    Default Grey Heron in flight

This Grey Heron was captured at the University of Pretoria in early morning light. It had just taken off out of water, thus the trailing droplets. The BG is grass, and the very lower BG is reflected grass on the water.

Wow you certainly nailed that heron Stu, the exposure is beautiful, the colours and tones idyllic and the details are excellent, as you mention the droplets are also a very nice adjutant.

Wicked and sharp. Great wing position with a good EXP. The dark shoreline was bad luck ...

Very nice Stu! Tack sharp, great wing position and nice BG. These herons look so much like our great blue herons.
