I captured this image at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. I was sitting down photographing another bird when this Great Blue Heron walked close checking me out. Comments and critiques welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Sharp, relatively soft light, a nice BKGR, and perfect symmetry. What's not to like?

Hi Joe, good choice of crop to suit the pose. Brilliant eye contact, as those eyes really pop nicely. The slight curvature of the neck rounds the image off nicely.
Very nice indeed, love the soft plumage and those eyes. The image really makes my eyes work, I look at the bill then I am drawn to the eyes and then I go down the neck to the beautiful grey and soft brown plumage.
