Doesn't get much better than a mature drake woodie, but a drake woodie in a great green BG? Come on, this is gorgeous. Details and colors look awesome too. I might consider cloning out the black spot (bill reflection) in the water but otherwise this is print ready!. Well done Tim

Thanks Dave, I wrestled with that idea and decided not to because that’s how it was, but I should’ve taken a few seconds and done it anyways.

A lovely image but as soon as I saw it I thought the the black spot (reflection of the bill?) has to go. It really pulls the eye away.
The water pattern is gorgeous. Exposure looks good.

Beautiful Tim. Great colours throughout, love that water...Nice detail on the bird and I like the reflection..agree about removing the bill reflection.

Here is the re-do Dave, with the spot removed

Nice to see the drake. Love that painterly water. Nice pose and composition as well.

Usually I'd say get lower, but the water is so pretty here you would have lost that with a lower angle. I feel you could boost the levels just a bit to give it a touch more pop. Otherwise leave as is!
