Good detail and background, pity about the cluttered stuff behind the bird.

Details look pretty good here on the body. Face seems softer than the wings/shoulder. Where was your focus point. Agree with Colin re the perch. It is kind of distracting and does not add any beauty to the shot. Also it is not ideal to have a perch that is angling away from you as you just get a bunch of stuff that is out of focus and distracting.

I agree with the guys above, and I also find the comp not the best it could be. Nice light, colours, sharpness. The green BG looks good too.

Have to agree with what the guys have already said. Bird looks excellent- perch is the issue.

Bird looks great and the background is excellent. Perch is what it is.

Thanks to all for comments and suggestions. The focus box went right through the beak to the cheek right under the eye and then down to the upper chest. Part was off the bird to the left. In servo AF the single point AF box is bigger. Having said that, the head/eye/beak looks sharp on my monitor. The search for a better perch continues.

What is possible FWIW. Bird too red. Perch horrific especially the branch behind the neck ... Eliminating the rest of the branches with Quick Masks as I did with the worst one just takes time. All plus tons more as detailed in DB II.
