    I was taking photographs of Ground Owls in Cape Coral,FL and this species flew overhead. Any help in identifying?

    I thought that it might have been an East Tern Airliner but the colors are wrong and I believe that that species has been extinct for several decades. Perhaps others can help...

    With the petrol/oil going sky high it will soon be extinct, the only sky high will be oil price,

    I believe thats a western gas hawk. note the distictive blue and orange markings.

    Nice underwing details, colors and background. But the Head Angle... And no eye contact...

    Not sure about the ID but it's probably from the Southwest...

    Not sure about the species but has a halo around it ..... must be from the speed !

    It's a Roseate Bellied Fuel Guzzler.
    I'm pretty sure it is the south west variant.
