    Wonderful behavioural capture, John.

Love those bits of grass flying and especially attitude from this Elk - was there another bull nearby?

Super techs and great timing, image well exposed and sharp with nice detail.
Lovely colours and composition works well - wonderful work

    Kind regards,

Thank you Gabriela, Yes there was another bull near by. Was hoping for a fight but the bulls just seemed to want to fight with the ground that afternoon.

Very wise of them, LOL. Self -preservation I saw Springboks fight for hours, they lock horns sometimes and that makes them easy prey for lions and hyenas.

Hi John, this and the previous image shows things are coming together nicely. If you had the bellow of the Elk with the grass covered rack this would have been an outstanding image, are they still rutting?
