    Hi all,

A skimmer from this past summer that I found recently going through files. In post, small crop and some light NR on the background.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 300mm f/4 PF + 1.4 TC
    Specs: 1/4000 f/5.6 ISO 640.

Thanks for looking and commenting on prior posts!

cool skimmer shot Alex, I like the BG. sharp with good details, I wish the sun was lower in the sky to get some warm tones and also a bit more detail in the blacks

Nice frame of this skimmer. Like the pose and the dark water background. Nice and sharp.

Sharp with a good EXP and nice wing positions. NIK 50/50 on both the underwing and the dorsal surface of the far wing would improve this one a ton. See the details in Digital Basics II.

ps: the near wingtip intersecting with the wavelet is less than ideal.
