I made this image last Summer at Provo Bay UT

This is big Crop. I should have shot this vertical but she did not cooperate much so after 1 click she is gone. So I cropped it vertically.

    Nikon D500, 500 f/4 +1.4x TCIII
    1/400 sec; f/5.6; ISO 1250
    Manual; Matrix metering

    Post Processing:-

I remove small dark green branch at top left corner.
    Raw Processing in C1P
    Photoshop CS6 with Nik Filters
    Custom Vignetting at reduced opacity

    Hope you like it.

    Thanks
    Krishna

Love the crop, the image design, and the soft light.

The vegetation and light make for a very pleasing image. A nice pose on the bird which looks slightly over sharpened.

Excellent perch and a pretty neat pose as well. I like the crop and the framing. However your processing is off. The colors on the bird and the perch are too thin and the bird is too light. Female YHBB are a darker brown than this and have deeper tones. Also the leaves look almost transparent as does the bir. You need to add some depth back into the photo by adjusting either levels, doing a curves adjustment, adding blacks in selective color or other methods.

Quick redo where I lowered the blacks and mid tones in levels, used the black point dropper in curves on the blacks of the feet, ran some auto tone at a low opacity, reduced the reds a bit. Nowhere near perfect but gives an idea or where I think the photo should go. I did not make any selections or worry about the blacks of the legs or anything else. Just some global adjustments that I would not do if it were my pic, I just wanted to show the difference when you add some blacks and tone back into the shot. You lose the transparent look. Probably the tones of the plants are a bit too deep on the repost but again I wanted to the the browns of the bird right. As always, going back to the raw and starting over is the best bet as opposed to working on the finished jpeg. Repost is on the bottom.

In this case I appreciate the overall softer look, feel, and mood of the original post.

    Thanks Isaac.

For this image, I am happy with the original post as I like the soft look. I am not too overly concerned about the colors of the Bird (it is close enough for me)

Thank you for taking time and commenting on the same.
