I captured this image at the rookery in the alligator breeding pond in Gatorland, Orlando, Florida. I know that the dappled light is not ideal but I like the intimacy of the image and the trust by the bird of allowing me to be close. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Sharp on the eye for sure. The dappled light does not bother me, it kills me :) As presented the shaded WHITEs are grey ... Still to shade or sun :)
