I captured this Guineafowl as he walked past my car in the Kruger National Park. Not the prettiest subject, but lots to look at. Being too close, I could not achieve most of the DOF, but managed where it counted.

Nice portrait. Tack sharp where it counts. OOF back feathers doesn't bother me at all.

I'm in love... So beautiful Stu, sharp, detailed, and fab colors... I like the eye position, ruffled neck feathers, and the red earrings! What are they called by the way? Well done.

Nice intimate look at this one Stu. Beautiful soft feather details and love the background.

Hi Stu, wonderful colors and sharp as a tack. A pleasure seeing a bird I am not familiar with. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Ann, I presume you are referring to the ' dangling things '. They are called hanging Wattles.

Tack sharp on the eye with plenty enough d-o-f for me. Clean, tight, and graphic. I like how the BKGR tones pick up the colors of the crest thing :)
