Love the light,SH, details, HA and snow perch(don't even miss the feet). You did well getting this beauty under that blue streak. Only wish the streak wasn't so pronounced. You continue to amaze with that glass.

Sharp and well EXPed but may more problems than the great cardinal image ... The bir is partially hidden behind the snow hill. And the blue streak is a huge distraction for me. If it were higher in the frame it would be less of a problem.

Hi John, good detail on the finer plumage, and nice and sharp too. I dont mind the blue in the BG, but I do miss the showing of the feet.

Do note the difference between this image and John's previous image: With the cardinal, the bird was on top of the snow and we did not see the feet because they simply sank into the soft snow. With this image, the bird is on the back side of the snow hill and thus, the feet are obscured ... I am fine with no feet in the cardinal image, but not with no feet here ... A fine point for sure but to me a major fine point :)
