    All you need is for them to be closer

    Excellent exposure and the bird turned nicely for you Great soft light making for good looking plumage and fine eye contact !! Position wise would have liked the far wing higher but do like it a lot as presented

    Love the eye here too, he is looking at you. Agree with Alfred on the far wing, here is one spot when multiple images with a fast fps rate would probably catch the wings in a better spot.

    The head looks like that of a northern harrier/marsh hawk, but the color does not look those I've seen. Don't know. Not sure if it could be called "northern" in Australia anyhow :)
