Thought I would post this one as I'm signing off now for a few weeks, so over to Rachel, Morkel & Gabriela and won't be picking email stuff up.

Thank you Haseeb & Sanjeev for the kind words, but you guys really need to buy the tiger book, it's inspirational for you IMHO, I'll send you the link. Hope I can do you guys justice, but all I know is - that the conditions are proving to be very tough currently. Outward bound, I'm taking both some new, additional camera kit and support stuff, so Haseeb I will let you know on the extra bit of kit for the vehicle and how it performs.

Thanks to those who posted or viewed on the last posting.

Beautiful cat, love the colour of the face, I suppose the rest is pale for some good reason, like it was! the tiger looks very relaxed, the composition looks good though I have slight reservation over the log centre foreground, it's not doing any harm really - but it does keep drawing my eye a little.

Hi Steve, what a majestic tiger and a regal pose for sure. Love the comp, HA and the eye contact. Colours look nice and the BG is clean with blur making the animal pop. Nicely done. I will get that book Steve, thanks for the link by mail. Do call me when you are in India. I will mail you my number.
Cheers and all the best for your trip. Hope you get great sightings.

Steve, indeed a Master piece BTW your "golden oldies" look much better than my new ones

This is a well exposed, well framed image of this beautiful tiger, love the relaxed pose and eye contact. Nice colours, BG is superb. I particularly like that soft fur on its tummy:)

I wish you a wonderful trip and lots of awesome sightings, from big cats to...grasshoppers

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Steve -- Loved the settings and the eye contact. Nice handling of light, it is so easy to blow out the whites of the Tiger. Excellent details and PP work , loved every bit of it.

Will wait for your review of your support stuff.

Wish you all the best for the trip and hope you get the best light and Tiger sightings .

    TFS !

Nice pose on the tiger and i like the setting. Maybe a touch to tight at the right. Not a big deal breaker though.

Very nice Steve. Good POV which shows the grasses behind the tiger as a very nice backdrop showing the subject well. I don't mind the piece of wood as it breaks up the FG a wee bit. Lovely pose..
