Though I like this one it is not nearly as strong as the first one in the series as it is a bit more cluttered, the REDs are very bight in spots, and one cluster of berries merges with the bird's right wing. It would have been stronger if the near wing were raised more. This one is also sharp with a prefect EXP but the hint of a BKGR fence or pole distracts.

Hi Jon, beautiful bird, not familiar to me. Love that it is hanging over eating the dried berries. I agree with Artie's comments. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Artie and Jo, I agree the first image is more eye catching. The berries are indeed very bright when there is a little light on them, some tree species are brighter than others - there are multiple on this location.

Very nice Jon. Love the colours. Liked the first one best though. This one is quite artistic. Never seen one this winter as yet. But, 40 Waxwing were seen in my hometown yesterday.

I also prefer the previous shot. Had you been able to back up and get rid of the clump behind him, this could have ben really money. But that's the car, not you. Also more direct eye contact as in the other image would help.
