I envy those of you who have been able to get close shots of this species. I have spent untold hours in frigid evenings, fingers too cold to click the shutter, waiting for a close fly-by at my local grasslands, where SEOWs will occasionally appear. To no avail. I posted a version of this image several years ago, and several reviewers quite rightly observed that no amount of post processing will produce a razor sharp, noise-free image at 10,000 ISO and crop factor body. Still, I liked the fly-by pose and thought it was worth another attempt, since it fit this month's theme. Here I cropped less, and didn't run any Topaz Detail. Still not noise-free but maybe just a hint better?
