    Default Whiskered Tern

This small non breeding Tern was shrimping almost with 100% results unlike my efforts with the new camera on a very windy day but I liked the red bill in the clean whites contrasting with the rest. Hope you do too.

Very nice. I will be AF Fine-Tuning my brand new 500 PF on Sunday and Monday. What camera body???

The WHITEs look fine to me but there seems to be a BLUE cast on the upper near wing surface.

Thanks Artie.D5. yes there is a bluish cast there. Hadn't noticed it before but you had an answer for that in a previous post but I cant now find it. Early morning blue reflection off the sky?. Very interested in how the 500PF is going work at 700mm for fast BIF. At f8 of course.

YAW. Select the wing with the Quick Selection Tool and desaturate the BLUE channel. Time will tell. Most of my flight photography will be done at 500mm (at f6.3). I will work at f/9 when I do use the TC.
