    I made this image from St. George, Tonquin Park

    The water colors are reflections from Fall colors.

    Nikon D500, 500 f/4 + 1.7x TCIII
    ISO 1000, f/6.7, 1/3200 sec
    Matrix Metering, Manual Mode

    Post Processing:- Raw Processing using C1P, Photoshop CS6, Neat Image for Noise Reduction
    TK Actions for Tonal Adjustments.

    Nice view of this duck. Love the colors and ripples in the water. The composition is nice.

    Nice water color. In spite of the concentric ripples this one is too centered for me.

    I went for central composition due to rings

    Beautiful colors and I like the non traditional pose. If you want a central composition because of the ripples I would recommend for this shot putting the eye in the center of the frame. That will move the body of the duck further to the right and would I think create a better balanced photo. Or if you really want to include the full ripples then move the bird as far right as possible to still keep the dark area of ripples that is right of the bird in the frame. So crop the area to the right of the S and H in your signature out of the frame.

    Love the water color and ripples. I like the suggestions by Isaac regarding the composition. Very well done.
