Made me chuckle, how wonderful to see these little ones and the unique poses. For me, image one takes the prize bc I am able to see the head/eyes in an engaging way. The pose of image two is endearing but i think the angle of the head/the eyes don't connect with me. I do like the slight shading of whites/grays throughout the penguin against the snow. We should be able to host some penguins here in the Northeast with the temperatures plummeting;9 degrees tonight! Happy Thanksgiving Artie.

The first one looks like it is just hanging out spread eagle style. The second one looks like it has fallen and can't get up. That one looks more blue than the other.

The first image works better for me. I like the eye contact, flight-like pose, exposure and composition. The second image looks like the penguin is having fun in the snow.

They both work well for their own reasons, but the first has more appeal to me as well - I love the raise head in that one!

not sure which one I like best...both are great. Excellent details in both whites and blacks.

I'd be pretty happy with either, but if I had to pick I'd go with the first one. Love the detail and the pose. Looks very relaxed. TFS
