A rather 'unfortunate' looking Elk here John.

Have you lightened the image, the BKG looks quite noisy for ISO3200 (add some NR) and very busy with all those tree branches, so not a ideal separation? The tree to the right I find rather dominating and draws the eye away from the main subject I feel, but lets see what others think.
