    Wow what a beautiful bird John! Lovely handling of light and a background to die for! I probably would have removed the 'finger' sticking out from its back but that's just me.

    That bird... that soft light... That water... Love the SH, details and even the light and shadow on the bird. I only wish you could have gotten this beauty completely against that water. TFS

    Hi John,
    I agree...great looking bird with lovely colours and sharp details. The background and perch add to the image. I'm not entirely comfortable with the lighter strip on the right however, and I would also clone out the little "finger". You sure have some interesting birds in NY.

    Great bird on a horrible perch and the white reflection is not good either.
