    I captured this image in Blue Cypress Lake, Florida with the Nikon D850 and the AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/4E FL ED VR handheld from a boat.

    Like the look back pose the owl gave. The blue sky background is nice.

    Lovely framing, great bird, and good details. I'd be tempted to lose the straggly out of focus bit of tree just to the right of his head.

    Nice enough. You might wish to open up the left side of the bird's face as it is in a bit of shadow.

    Pretty shot in great habitat that nicely frames the bird. I like that we can see both eyes but wish we had more direct eye contact.
