    Default chase underway...

Fondly thinking about Summer past as I loaded the wood stove this afternoon. Got to thinking about the skimmers and set out for a chase shot to process. There is often a pursuit for various reasons: food, territory, mating, and exercise! Hahaha...

Wishing they were in sync... I jest... Just a wonderful view of both with two perfect eyes (one is hard enough). Exp, details, BG and composition all work for me. And, wood stove? What's that? Sorry lifetime native Floridian here... TFS

cool you got the chase and both sharp, like the BG too. next step is to get them with open beak, and ideally a big fish for the one being chased

Ditto all the positives. I like best that you got them well above the grass/sky horizon.

Great work getting both sharp and with decent wing positions, nice flight angle. Good exposure and background. Circumstances kept be from Nickerson this year, so I'm doubly looking forward to next year.

Beautiful frame Ann, and that strip of vegetation along the bottom is just perfect.
