    Not for me ..... the experts would probably think so but my eye is drawn to the beautiful blue eye and throat.

    I like the crop. As Judy pointed out it immediatly draws your attention to the eye and throat.
    Very sharp image. Love it.

    Not to tight for me. Enough detail and color to keep me busy viewing for awhile. The eye is very interesting. I do see a bit of noise at the forehead and back side of the head. Just looks like it got missed in PP and should clean up easily. Personally, I'd also clone out the feather visible through the open beak as it merges teh top and bottom portions to my eye. Very nice image regardless.

    Borederline too tight for me. Wonderful blue eye and throat, but mega contrasty... When you work side lit in bright sun you are a dead duck... Go back and get some of these on cloudy day with some fill flash and the image will rock...

    It appears that the lores and the area around the eye are featherless. Mr. Chardine, is this normal???
