Not a great shot, but thought I'd post this anyway as it's quite an unusual looking bird. There were a few hanging around a cemetery near Lake Samsonvale, Brisbane.

Hi Dorian. According to "google" it means they are captive bred...added when they are babies. I'm not sure why one band is different from the other though in this case.
Hi Paul, Can you confirm that this is an introduced species, i.e., not native to Australia? Good self critique.

Yes...It is native to Africa, mainly south of the Sahara, and has been widely introduced into the West Indies, Brazil, Australia and Europe. Will aim for a better photo on my next visit...as I think they're always at that location.
