Hello David, a cooperative mallard! I would suggest more room around the duck if you have it maybe a pano, also, another round of sharpening as it appears soft, most noticeable the head. I realize you were shootin at 6400 but I'd like to see an increase in exposure, maybe get some detail in the back end feathers. Also, when I look at the water FG and BG there is something going on there as I see some bleeding through of other colors, ex: light blue lower bottom left and especially to the right of the head... Catchlight is prominent, natural? TFS.
Image design, the circular ripples, and SH all good. IQ looks like high ISO and the colors are a bit muddy ...
