    Have tried to frame this with the FG and BG leaves,D850+850mm,ISO 1250,1/1600s,f6.3.

    What an amazing bird and colors.
    I unfortunately do not know this bird - where was the photo taken?

    Thanks Robert,this was shot in the Himalayan foot hill forest of Darjeeling,India.

    A very appealing image and really colourful. I like the pose and plumage detail. The foliage is not ideal but I do not find it too distracting, I think I would leave it as is.

    Good head angle and amazing bird and details. I like the o-o-f leaves but would lose the sharper ones on our right ... Then I would take about half off the empty space at the top. The sky looks a bit CYAN but I am in my car :) Not driving :)

    Thanks Arthur for your input,the bg is opposite hill not the sky,look the bird is at my eye level.

    Very nice Bird and the Plumage.

    I would sharpen the eye a touch, it looks a bit soft to me.

    I agree with artie, I will remove the sharp leaves.
