    Default Black-bellied Whistling Ducks

I captured this image in 2013 at Circle B Bar Reserve when I was just beginning a interest in bird photography. I reworked the image recently using new tools in Lightroom and Photoshop available in upgrades since the image was captured. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom Classic CC, Photoshop CC 2019 and Neat Image for noise reduction, removed a partial duck in the upper right and left hand corners of the image

Nice to see three birds in the frame and especially that they are all sharp. Nice poses on all the birds as well.

    Hello Joseph,

As John says, it is great to see all the birds in focus.
It is unfortunate that the 3rd bird is not completely in the frame.

    Regards,
    Rob

Hi Robert, the third bird is all in the frame. What you are seeing is from posting at 1900 pixels on the long edge of the image. Great for those with 4K and 5K displays but not so much for the rest of us. To see the whole image while holding down the CTRL key hit the - (minus key) as needed to shrink the image. Hey Joe, I fell off my chair when i opened this on my 5K... awesome! Wonderful we get a good view of all three and in different wing positions. I also like your BG. There is some artifact at the bottom belly of the bottom bird... Well done

Hi Ann, thank you for catching that artifact. Not sure exactly what it was, something in the original image that looked funky. As many times as I looked at the image I did not see it until your comment. I fixed it and here is a repost without the artifact. Thank you for viewing and commenting, wonderful to have another set of eyes.

Really, really, really nice Joe. I think this is one or your best images (that I've seen). Beautiful frame. TFS.

Stunningly spectacular. The wing position of the last bird is too, too perfect. And all three sharp!
