This is cute John..Nice detail on both parent and Bambi..Lovely eye contact and detail. I like the POV. I may tone down the BG . Lovely image and very pleasing to the eye.

Hi John - A very tender moment. The comp works. I would definitely try to tone down the bg as it draws the eye.

John you have been having a blast with these deer and this one is no exception, a really nice moment captured. My suggestion would be similar to previous i.e. tone down the background - less contrast and maybe a tad darker.

Lovely image John and the composition just works. Nice colours on the subjects and good detail too, pose is superb. I like the HA from both and especially interaction.

It happens to me too, at times there are elements at a particular scene that I find so charming and which in real life look awesome. It is perhaps the case with the background here, those golden reeds ( forgive me, not quite sure what they are) look like fire and make for such an interesting background, the only problem is they draw the viewer's eye from the deer. I would soften them just a bit
I just love the tenderness of the moment you have captured here, so much emotion...Very well done

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Oh John a very sweet and tender moment well captured , well done and timed.
Subjects do look great , maybe a bit saturated .....a matter of taste .
But the BG does need NR applied ....loads of noise . I bet the 5D MK IV can deliver better .
