Last year I spend one week in Swedish Lapland together with my gf (Maaike). I was on a magazine assignment and we were fortunate enough that Maaike could join me.It was a wonderful experience to see her going through that snowy landscape.

You're right that the shot that you saw in Washington was quite similar....but the person was very different....as were the dogs...
