When visiting my local pond in Pretoria, some days its quiet, and some days one comes away with a little bit of action. On this morning, this Egyptian goose took off from a distance and flew directly towards me. He was flying low, so I was lucky to capture him against the colourful water, of the reflected bushes in the distant BG. When I downloaded this, I didnt realise how much of a 3D effect I managed.

Lovely Stu...Yes, it sure looks 3D here. Another amazing BG and I really like the detail you captured on the bird. Great flight pose and it's good that we can see both eyes. Nice POV and I like your crop.

I like this goose Stu, lovely and perfectly sharp, two eyes and a complimentary BG. I like how the FG water horizontal lines blend into the BG, and vertical lines. Well done and quite the shooter HH and 2x's!

This beauty really pops against that killer complimentary BG. Wish for no shadow on breast(had to find a nit). TFS

Ditto all the positives above. It looks great. Assuming AF was in the center what AF Area mode did you use?

This is a great result, very impressive with the 2X! The eyes are fantastic. I wouldn't mind see a slightly tighter crop as you have the detail for it. Might put even more focus
    on those yellow eyes!

Very nice head on frame here. Looks nice and sharp. Also really like the background.
