Another image for this months theme .
Early morning , before the sun came out , a file of wildebeests were grazing in the open savannah. The moon was still shining bright and thought I should try a scape with the moonlit environment.
Looking forward for your comments and suggestions.

Hi Haseeb, I like the idea and the moon shining bright. I wish the WBs were lined on the horizon rather than in the grasses where they seem a bit lost in the frame. But glad you tried this and good PP work.

Hi Haseeb - It's so great the way you are experimenting and taking chances. This is another tough one. I think the conversion works here but it's the subject matter that isn't really working for me. I want more land at the bottom and wish that more of the wildebeests' heads were up. The big expanse of blank grey sky is just too much for my taste. I would have probably tried to put the moon in a higher rule of thirds position and had the ground at the bottom taking up about a third of the frame as well.
I too would have loved the WB more in the clear , i am fine with the wide expanse with the placement of the moon. I have some more experimental stuff for this months theme to post here but running out of time as i will be travelling from the 22nd of oct ( not photography related though). Lets see if i am able to post more. But appreciate the way you guys have been helping throughout.

but do agree with Rachel somewhat, the small sliver of landscape and subsequent size of gnus in the frame does not quite work for me, but do like what you're trying to achieve, I would however fix the curvature in PP.
Hi Haseeb i do also like the concept of the image , maybe a bit more room below would work better .
I do like the trees breaking the horizon line for a little variation , tones and contrast are looking good to me .
The curvature should be there due to missing lens correction in DPP , have you the profiles installed ?
And the BG does need NR , at least for me .
Good to see your OOTB thinking , i miss that sometimes for my work .
@ Andreas - I guess the profiles are not installed.
As far as your OOTB thinking goes, you produce some really very good images with excellent details so for a change try posting images that lack details , just joking . But thanks for encouraging as always .
