    Love the Laughing Gull, wonderful breeding plumage. The beach sand and the background work nicely together to highlight the bird. Some of the blacks may be blocked but this is only from visually looking at the image, I did not open the image to see what the numbers are. I guess I wish I could see the feet, wonder if a few inches higher would have made them visible. Thank you for sharing, John.

    Hi John, I like your low shooting angle here, and excellent exposure all round. Although the feet are buried in the soft sand, maybe seeing them would have taken this up a few notches.

    Love that species especially in spring. A bit more room behind would improve it. I like the perspective and do not mind the feet in the sand.
