One from the weekend, whilst the grandchildren were feeding the ducks, I was photographing the Black Headed Gulls (again). I got decent light as the sun was going down under the trees causing a reflection of Autumn colours. This is a juve in winter plumage. Common birds around this area, but they give you some great action to capture.

I like this splash Will and the sharp gull against the colored water really gives your image a "wow".

Very nice splash. Timing was perfect. Details look good and i like the rippled reflection.

Killer water, splash, reflection and subject. Only wish the head was better separated from the wing.

I too like the splash, well captured. Detail and exposure on the bird look good. Nice complimentary background. Thank you for sharing, Will.

Hi Will, excellent timing for the 'splash' down, and the IQ on those splashes rock. Good DOF and sharpness on the Gull, and I like how it is 'sunken' below the splashes. I really like this - well captured

Love the big splash on our left. Wish only for a bit more light on the face. Technically correct is first winter plumage.
