    Default Mt Jarvis sunset

    Hi all,
This was taken last year at Mt Jarvis, Queenstown, Tasmania. We stayed in a motel and was told by the owner that a good place to see the sunset was up at Mt Jarvis...20 minutes steepish drive away. This is the scene that greeted me when I arrived. I setup my tripod and snapped away. The colours are as I saw them...no need for editing. A short time later the dense mist/clouds started to come over the area, so it was a drive back to the motel.
    Canon 6D, 100-400 lens at 263mm, 1/30th sec, f11, iso100, AV mode. Cheers.

Interesting perspective for this scene Paul. I like that you were essentially eye-level with the line of clouds. If it were mine I would remove some of the blue / cyan colour in the shadows.
Please do remember to comment on other folks images as well when you stop by. It is always great to hear everybody's perspectives on the images :)

Hi Paul - Interesting look at the cloud and sunset. I agree with Andrew about the blues. It may be an optical illusion but it feels like it needs a slight amount of ccw rotation.

At the first sight I though that the below part of the image was underwater.

    Very Interesting image.
