I made this image during my Fall Trip to Colorado - San Juan Skyway.

I wanted to explore the possibility of long exposure for motion in clouds. There was heavy winds and I was not getting sharp image with the trees and Before i could try any further there was a snow storm which covered the mountains.

    Nikon D850, 24-120 f/4
    ISO 40, f/10, 0.4 sec
    Matrix Metering, Manual Mode
Camera on Tripod using Shutter cable release.

    Post Processing:-
    Local Burning and Dodging
    Nik Color Effect Pro
    Sharpening

    Hope you like the image.

    Thanks
    Krishna

Hi Krishna...a very beautiful composition, well processed. Lots of nice diagonals created by the aspens and the evergreen trees and nice detail throughout...well done!

Hi Krishna. This is a lovely image...I like the foreground colours and details. However, the difference in colour between the foreground and background mountains and sky is not working for me...almost like a colour and black & white image combined. Maybe it's the color efex pro filter you used...not sure.

    Hi Paul.

I removed the Blue color cast in the Background mountains.

Here is another version which had little bit more Vibrance.

Also in this one I did not remove the Blue cast on the mountains.

Both well done, nicely designed, and well processed.
