Hi John I really like this compared to previous postings as it has truck loads of atmosphere which I like with the falling snow and love the hint of the small amount of snow kicking up by the doe's movement. Framing here works and for me, great POV, just the right height. The techs look about right as you could loose the snowfall with greater DoF. Colour also appears reflective of the time of day, but... and this is where you need to get to grips with your current camera body. The head isn't sharp and if you get to grips with 'Cases' then this will help lock onto the subject and not let the AF get swayed by the falling snow.

Personally I would clone the white branch hitting the Deers back and the larger white branch across the LH tree trunk, it's cleaner.

"Truckloads of atmosphere" sums this image up perfectly. It tells a story , makes the viewer think etc - I love it !

The low angle, the gentle yet firmly falling snow, the pose and the nice tones really set this off.
For me - one of your best posts here to date! Can't comment on finite high-level sharpness as viewing on a laptop.

Hi John -- I loved it ! Beautiful scene , loved the atmosphere and the low POV is just what makes this image and of course the falling snow. Agree with Steve regarding the sharpness on the head , but I thoroughly enjoyed viewing this one, one of your recent best .

    TFS !

Falling snow is the a more nteresting point of this composition!
I like detail and right color!
