    Hi John, a step to the left to hide the other deer in the BKG would have been better, I would loose also some space to the LHS, there's too much negative space and unbalances the crop for me. Perhaps a sliver more below, but here it's less of a deal breaker. With the zoom you have far more control with the framing, perhaps keep things a little more loose and crop at PP stage, with the 5D you have plenty of pixels providing it's not massive.

    The colour balance is slightly awry for me, the image is sharp, background just a little on the noisy side.

    I agree about the noisy bg however its a beautiful animal and the white flowers add nicely
