    I believe this is a juvenile ring-billed gull. This image was created at Cayuga Lake in Ithaca, New York on 2/27/18 at 5:04PM. Image adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop.

    Hand held, Small crop.

    Nice capture John. I like the pose and the nice details too. Exposure looks good too. Now all you need is him with a colorful BG!! Well done

    Nice gull shot, but - given your location - this is probably an immature Herring Gull. RB Gull is much smaller with a daintier bill.
