    Default Curious Sanderling Checking Me Out.

    As it approached closer, this Sanderling cocked its head sideways a few times, seemingly to gauge if I was a safe obstacle to get by .

    Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1250s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, small crop for comp.

    Love the soft light, the inquisitive sanderling and the raised foot. I like that the bird is in the "middle of the road" and only the pebbles are showing and then how everything else dissolves. Very nice Dan. Whoops, don't want to forget that complimentary BG!

    Nice light and pose. I love the bubble on the left. I could see a version without the seaweed, but I'm also okay with it. Very nice. No nits from me. TFS

    Like how the frame is divided by the water and the beach. The tilted head is neat. Nice low angle.

    I like the walking pose, low angle, bubble and BG. I too could see a version without the seaweed but still a beauty as presented.
