Hi asll,
Here's a Tree Martin captured recently. Got close to this, so only a smallish crop. 7Dii, 100-400 lens at 400mm, 1/320th sec, f8, iso400 in AV mode, hand-held. Processed in ACR and PS. Cheers.

Love this one. The face is super sharp and the face was processed perfectly. The raised near-wing, the pugnacious look, the BKGR, and a nice look at the toes all add.
with love, artie

Hi Artie,
So tempting! My daughter is getting married next July, so might have to pass on that (for now)...but I'll follow your tours closely. Thank you again.
Nice frame of this martin. The background and pose are great. Nice and sharp. Well done.

Hi John. Thank you for the feedback...much appreciated.
Artie: Thank you for those details...the wedding is during that time so will have to pass.
Beautifully processed, Color pose and background all look terrific.

This is excellent Paul! Bird IQ is off the charts.
Great BG and lovely complimentary colors.
Only thing that could improve this image is a nicer perchand I would clone out the little white spot on top of the head.
Well done,
Gail
Hi Robert...cheers!
Hi Gail: Thanks so much for the kind feedback. I agree regarding the perch. Wow...I didn't notice the white spot until you pointed it out...now it sticks out like......off to the clone tool!
P.S. This was taken at Oxley Creek Common (30mins from my house)...one of my favourite locations.

Hi Paul, great eye contact, and you have brought out excellent plumage and feather detail. Good DOF overall too.
Lovely bird Paul, terrific colors and feather detail, TFS!
Thanks so much Stu and Ann:)
