    Default Lighthouse with Milky Way

A 2 o'clock in the morning job. I made the exposure for the sky and was contemplating what exposure I needed for the foreground to blend the two exposures in photoshop, when a security light came on behind me and I was able to capture the scene with one exposure.

    Canon 5D Mk3. Sigma Art 24mm f1.4 Lens Tripod.
20 secs at f1.8 ISO 3200. PS6 and Nik Filters.

Lots of light pollution but it works very well in this composition. The scene is nicely framed to maximize the amount of the Milky Way within the composition too. I do wish the crop plants were more in focus but not doable with one exposure. Ideally a blue hour shot of the crop at a smaller f stop and then one a night for the stars and a blend of the two exposures would have worked best.

A very beautiful scene. I agree it is well framed to show the Milky. I really like the color pallet. Well done to bring out the Milky Way like that in one exposure.
