Hi John - the blacks look a little better here, maybe because the light was hitting more of the bear. I like the pose in the tree. There's some magenta/red coming through in the bear but it may be natural as some of them do have a bit of reddish tint.

From an aesthetic point of view I would suggest the image is too rich in contrast. I think I would tone the tree bark down. The muzzle of the bear looks just a little soft to me and there a apparent noise in the darker leaves on the right. The bear is looking out of the frame, which I don't think is desirable. Sorry this sounds rather negative, I am certain I would have taken the image had I been there but I think your other bear images are better.

Hi John, I would loose some off the top, just below the broken stump, it's a bit ugly and there looks to be some repeat pattern in the foliage by the stump?

The bear looks a bit 'thin' in the overall richness/tonal depth and lacks the detail I feel, especially in the face, comes back to comments previous covered in other posts. I do like the fact the subject is in the 'V' of the tree, makes for a different setting, but natural.
